A Prayer for Family and Godly Relationships
“Almighty God, we come before You with grateful hearts for the blessing of family. We thank You for the sacred bond between parents and children, and for the promise that honor and obedience bring life and prosperity. Father, grant us wisdom to train our children in Your ways, that they may grow in righteousness and never depart from the path of truth. Help us parents to guide with patience and love, never provoking our children to anger, but rather encouraging them in faith. Bless our children with hearts that honor their mothers and fathers, understanding that obedience pleases You and brings Your favor upon their lives. May they know the blessing of longevity and peace that comes from respecting their parents. Heal any broken relationships within our families. Soften our hearts toward one another and fill us with compassion, forgiveness, and unconditional love. Give us the grace to speak with kindness and the strength to act with integrity before those we hold most dear. May our families reflect Your love and become havens of faith, where each member grows closer to You and to one another. We commit our families into Your loving hands, trusting You to strengthen and sustain us. Amen.”
