The Lord's Prayer
Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
From ScripturePsalm 23 - The Shepherd's Prayer
The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
From ScripturePrayer of Jabez
Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me!

Give me now wisdom and knowledge, that I may go out and come in before this people: for who can judge this thy people, that is so great?
From ScriptureDavid's Prayer of Thanksgiving
Blessed be thou, LORD God of Israel our father, for ever and ever. Thine, O LORD is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all. Both riches and honour come of thee, and thou reignest over all; and in thine hand is power and might; and in thine hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all. Now therefore, our God, we thank thee, and praise thy glorious name.
From ScripturePsalm 51 - Prayer of Repentance
Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions. Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me. Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me. Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.
From ScripturePrayer for Protection - Psalm 91
He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day.
From ScripturePaul's Prayer for Spiritual Wisdom
That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power.

May we experience that peace which surpasses all understanding, guarding our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Give us strength to pray without ceasing, to maintain constant communion with Thee throughout our days. Help us to remember that prayer is not merely a duty, but a privilege—a precious opportunity to draw near to Thee. Strengthen our faith when we grow weary, and deepen our dependence upon Thy grace. May our lives become living testimonies to the transforming power of prayer, and may others see in us the evidence of Thy faithfulness. We ask all of this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
A Prayer for the Virtue and Worth of Women
Heavenly Father, we come before You with grateful hearts, thanking You for the women You have blessed in our lives. Lord, help us to see women as You see them—not by the fleeting measures of the world, but by the eternal value of their hearts. We pray that women everywhere would understand their true worth, far exceeding any earthly treasure, found not in outward appearance but in the depth of their character and their reverence for You. Grant them strength to cultivate inner beauty—a spirit of gentleness and quietness that reflects Your love and brings honor to Your name. Guard their hearts from the deceptions of vanity and the empty promises of worldly adornment. Instead, fill them with courage, wisdom, and faith that shine brighter than any jewel. We lift up all the virtuous women who serve You faithfully, who build their families and communities on foundations of righteousness. Bless them abundantly, and help all of us to recognize and celebrate the extraordinary value You place upon their lives. May women be praised and honored for their faith in You and their devotion to Your ways. In Jesus''s name, we pray. Amen.
A Prayer for Strength
O Lord, I come before You in this moment of need, seeking the strength that only You can provide. When troubles surround me and my spirit grows weary, remind me that You are my refuge and my fortress, ever present in my darkest hours. Grant me the patience to wait upon You, knowing that as I trust in Your promises, my strength shall be renewed. Help me to rise above my circumstances with the wings of eagles, to run my race without becoming exhausted, and to walk my path without fainting. I acknowledge that in my own power, I am insufficient, but through Christ Jesus, my Savior, I can accomplish all things. Infuse me with His strength when mine fails. Give me courage to face each day, wisdom to make right choices, and faith to believe in Your infinite power. Lord, transform my weakness into Your strength. When I am burdened, lift me up. When I am discouraged, restore my hope. Help me to lean not on my own understanding, but to rely wholly upon You. Thank You for being my constant source of hope and power. In Jesus'' name, I pray. Amen.
A Prayer for Protection
Heavenly Father, I come before You with a humble heart, seeking Your divine protection and care. As a mother bird shelters her young beneath her wings, I ask that You would cover me with Your loving presence and shield me from harm. Grant me the assurance that under Your wings, I am safe and secure. You are my refuge and my strength, O Lord. In times of trouble and uncertainty, be my very present help. When fear threatens to overwhelm me, remind me that You are near. Let Your truth be my shield and buckler against all adversity that comes my way. I call upon the strength of Your holy name, that mighty tower wherein the righteous find safety. Protect my body, mind, and spirit from all evil. Guard my loved ones as well, and surround them with Your grace. Give me wisdom to make right choices and courage to face each day with faith. Let me run into the shelter of Your name and find complete safety there. Help me to trust in Your unfailing protection, knowing that nothing can separate me from Your care. Thank You for being my defender and my shield. Amen
A Prayer for Healing
O Lord, our God and Healer, we come before Thee with hearts full of faith and trust. We acknowledge that all healing comes from Thy mighty hand, and we lift up our prayers to Thee for those who suffer in body and spirit. Lord, we ask that Thou wouldst look upon the sick among us with compassion and mercy. Grant us the courage to gather in community, to intercede for one another, and to anoint with faith those who are afflicted. Let the prayer of faith rise up as incense before Thy throne, that Thou might raise up the afflicted and restore them to wholeness. Forgive us of our iniquities and cleanse us from within, for Thou hearest not only our words but the condition of our hearts. Transform our sufferings into opportunities to know Thee more deeply and to experience Thy saving grace. We bless Thee for all Thy benefits—for Thy forgiveness, Thy restoration, and Thy healing power that flows through all creation. As we wait upon Thee, strengthen our faith that we might be made whole. Amen.
