A Prayer for Understanding God''s Love
“Gracious Father, we come before You with grateful hearts, humbled by the immeasurable love You have shown us. You are love itself, and in knowing You, we come to understand what true love means. We thank You for the sacrifice of Your beloved Son, given so freely that all who believe might have eternal life. Teach us, O Lord, to love as You have loved us—with patience and kindness, without envy or pride. Help us to seek not our own interests, but to bear with one another in truth and grace. Give us hearts that rejoice in what is right and good, that believe the best in others, and that endure all things with hope. May we reflect Your love in our words and actions, that through us, others might glimpse the depth of Your compassion. Transform us from within, that we might truly know You through the love we share. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.”
