A Prayer for Children
“Our Father in heaven, we come before You with grateful hearts for the precious gift of children. We thank You for entrusting us with their care and spiritual formation. Give us wisdom to guide them faithfully in Your ways, that as they grow, the seeds of faith we plant may take deep root and bear fruit throughout their lives. Lord, help us to honor and protect the innocence of children, recognizing in them a reflection of Your kingdom. May we never hinder them from coming to You, but instead create pathways for them to experience Your love and grace. Strengthen families as we teach obedience and respect, understanding that these virtues point toward a deeper reverence for You. Grant parents and mentors the patience and faithfulness to model Christ in all we do. When we grow weary, sustain us. When we doubt our influence, remind us that Your Word does not return empty. Help every child to know they are deeply loved and valued in Your sight. We commit all children to Your loving care, praying they grow in wisdom, stature, and favor with both God and man. Amen.”
