A Prayer for Marriage
“Heavenly Father, we come before You with grateful hearts, thanking You for the sacred covenant of marriage. We praise You for joining two souls together, that they might leave all else behind and become one flesh, united in purpose and love. Lord, we lift up husbands before Your throne, asking that they would love their wives with the same selfless, sacrificial love that Christ demonstrated for His church. Grant them wisdom to lead with gentleness, courage to love without reservation, and hearts transformed by Your grace. We also pray for wives, that they would embrace their calling to honor and support their husbands as they honor You. Give them strength in submission, not as bondage, but as freedom found in trusting Your divine design. Help all married couples to build their foundations upon Your Word, to communicate with honesty and kindness, and to navigate life''s challenges with unwavering faith. Bind their hearts together with unbreakable bonds of love, respect, and devotion. May every marriage reflect Your perfect love and demonstrate to the world the beauty of Your eternal plan for us.
