A Prayer for Strength
“Almighty God, I come before You today acknowledging my weakness and my desperate need for Your strength. When the burdens of this life weigh heavily upon my shoulders and I feel utterly depleted, remind me that through Christ Jesus, I can accomplish all things. Grant me the courage to trust in His power working through me. Father, teach me the grace of waiting upon You, for I know that those who patiently seek You shall have their strength renewed. When I grow weary and my spirit grows faint, lift me up on wings like eagles, that I might soar above my circumstances and see them through Your eternal perspective. Be my refuge in times of trouble, O Lord. You are my ever-present help when I feel most alone and afraid. In my darkest moments, remind me that You have not abandoned me, but stand beside me as my shield and fortress. I surrender my anxieties to You and ask that You infuse my weary soul with Your supernatural strength. Transform my weakness into vessels of Your power, that I may run my race without growing weary and walk my path without fainting. Thank You, Lord, for being my constant source of strength. Amen.”
