A Prayer for Forgiveness of Sins
“O Lord, I come before Thee with a humble and contrite heart, acknowledging the weight of my transgressions. I confess before Thee the sins that burden my soul, for I cannot hide them from Thy sight. They are ever before me, a constant reminder of my weakness and my need for Thy mercy. I beseech Thee, O God, to wash me thoroughly from my iniquity and cleanse me from all unrighteousness. I know that Thou art faithful and just, and that when I confess my sins, Thou wilt forgive me and purify my heart. Thy grace is greater than all my failures. Grant me true repentance, not merely words of regret, but a sincere turning away from my sins. Help me to surrender my life fully to Jesus Christ, that through His name my sins might be remitted and I might receive the gift of Thy Holy Spirit. Let me be transformed by Thy cleansing power. I thank Thee for Thy boundless compassion and the promise of restoration. Guide me forward in righteousness, that I may walk in the light of Thy love and truth all the days of my life. Amen”
