A Prayer for Thankfulness
“O Lord, our God, whose goodness endureth forever and whose mercy never faileth, we come before Thee with grateful hearts. Teach us to give thanks in all things, for we know this is Thy will for us in Christ Jesus. Help us to recognize Thy blessings in every season of life—in times of abundance and in times of trial. Forgive us when we forget to acknowledge Thy tender care and provision. Grant us the wisdom to turn our worries into prayers of supplication, lifting our requests to Thee with grateful hearts rather than anxious minds. We trust that as we present our petitions with thanksgiving, Thy peace, which passes all understanding, will guard our hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. May thankfulness become the language of our souls, overflowing from lives transformed by grace. Help us to see that gratitude is not merely a response to blessings received, but a gateway to deeper faith and fellowship with Thee. In every circumstance, may we lift our voices in praise and thanksgiving, anchored in the knowledge of Thy eternal goodness. Amen.”
