A Prayer for a Loved One
“Gracious Father, I come before You with a heart full of love and concern for those I hold dear. I lift up my beloved to Your throne, trusting in the confidence that You hear my prayers when I ask according to Your will. Grant me the faith to believe that You have already answered before I finish speaking. I ask that You would pour out Your healing presence upon my loved one. Strengthen them in body, mind, and spirit. Where there is pain, bring comfort. Where there is doubt, restore faith. Help me to be an instrument of Your grace, interceding faithfully on their behalf with fervent prayers that reach Your heart. Make me righteous in my supplications, that my prayers might be effective and powerful. Give me wisdom to support them with both prayer and presence. Help us to grow closer to You together, leading lives of godliness and honesty. I thank You in advance for Your faithfulness and love toward those I cherish. Your mercies are new every morning, and I rest in Your perfect care for them. Amen.”
