A Prayer for Healing
“O Lord, our God and Healer, we come before Thee with hearts full of faith and trust. We acknowledge that all healing comes from Thy mighty hand, and we lift up our prayers to Thee for those who suffer in body and spirit. Lord, we ask that Thou wouldst look upon the sick among us with compassion and mercy. Grant us the courage to gather in community, to intercede for one another, and to anoint with faith those who are afflicted. Let the prayer of faith rise up as incense before Thy throne, that Thou might raise up the afflicted and restore them to wholeness. Forgive us of our iniquities and cleanse us from within, for Thou hearest not only our words but the condition of our hearts. Transform our sufferings into opportunities to know Thee more deeply and to experience Thy saving grace. We bless Thee for all Thy benefits—for Thy forgiveness, Thy restoration, and Thy healing power that flows through all creation. As we wait upon Thee, strengthen our faith that we might be made whole. Amen.”
