A Prayer for Anxiety
“Heavenly Father, I come before You today with a burdened heart, carrying worries that weigh heavily upon my soul. Forgive me for the anxious thoughts that cloud my mind and steal my peace. Help me to remember that You care for every creature of the earth, feeding the birds of the sky without their concern or labor. If You provide so abundantly for them, surely You will care for me, Your beloved child. Teach me to lay down my burdens at Your feet, trusting that You hold my cares in Your loving hands. Grant me the courage to bring my requests to You with grateful hearts, releasing my fears through prayer and thanksgiving. Replace my anxiety with Your supernatural peace, a peace that transcends all understanding and guards my heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Help me to surrender my worries completely, knowing that You are faithful and that my worth far exceeds the lilies of the field. Strengthen my faith to trust in Your perfect provision and timing. As I cast my cares upon You, fill me with the assurance of Your love and the comfort of Your presence. Amen.”
